Description
My main goal was to write a poem and portray it in such a way that each word gets to take up the entire area of the display. (Think of it as a prototype for a space-efficient billboard.) I wanted to make the poem fit a mainstream form so that no matter how few words I used, there wouldn't be any question that it is indeed a poem, and that's how I came up with the idea to write an inefficiently, counterintuitively verbalized haiku.
Please note that the one word is written very small and reiterated throughout the piece, and the word order can be determined by English grammar and the 5-7-5 Haiku syllable format.
Funny trivia: the the title is longer by word count than the piece itself.
Also, I've thought of other ways I might use these visual concepts more effectively, and I might try something like this again in a later work...
